AAU Spring Show

Last night was my second gallery exhibition debut of the month!

A Milky Way of Books

Here is one of my newly finished illustrations! A little girl is excited about reading as she lets her imagination take off!

                   

Typo

My most favorite stationary store is Typo! They always have the most adorable pens that write so well. They feel like they glide across the page.

I got my rabbit pen a while back and I love the little guy so much that when I went back to Typo, I could not resist taking home his buddies too.

I love their little faces so much, that is just had to draw them!

                       

Crochet Spring is in the Air!

Spring has got me thinking about flowers. I'm trying to come up with some adorable ideas for my spring mailer and to get me going, I made some crochet flowers.

I love them because they are super quick to make and the color possibilities are endless!

                      

Strawberry Inspiration

Strawberries are so adorable and they are certainly in abundance this time of year. These two were so big that I just had to crochet them. 

I've made some strawberries before, but something about seeing them on a blank plate next to the real thing is so satisfying.

                          

Origami Spring

I have seen this at a few restaraunts before and have always wanted to try since it looks so pretty!

So I thought I would celebrate this spring month with some origami roses made out of drinking-straw wrappers! 

I put them in a little ceramic teapot I made a long time ago, and viola! A miniature spring bouquet that won't wilt!
